CHA is a 501c3 which organizes the annual Celebrate Hercules 4th of July Event. The event includes the Hercules Dynamite Run, the Hometown Parade, The Festival in the Park and the Kids Zone.
Recently the Association has also taken on a separate project, which is to bring a Veterans Memorial to the City of Hercules. This effort is a continuation of the 4th of July celebration, which has a history of honoring Veterans and those men and women serving in the military.
