The Friends of the Hercules Library is a nonprofit group that supports and promotes our city's library as a vital community asset. We operate a bookstore inside the library and hold semiannual used book sales. The funds we raise are used to buy materials for the library's collections and sponsor programming for children and adults. As of the end of 2020, we have contributed more than $280,000 to the Hercules Library
Membership in the Friends is open to all, and at $10 for individuals and $15 for families, is a real bargain. Members receive a 50% discount at the Friends bookstore.
