Michelle Gonzalez, owner of Massage by Michelle, became interested in holistic healing as a child. She remembers her grandmother using natural remedies such as onion tea and soothing massage to help ailing family members. As a high school and college student, Michelle used her homegrown skills to massage fellow swim team members and friends. It was not until 1998 that she decided to take her first formal massage class at the Central Coast School of Body Therapy in Los Osos, CA. She used her new skills on friends and work colleagues. She then took a (not so brief) break to use her business degree from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo.
In October 2008 Michelle combined her business degree and love of massage to establish Massage by Michelle. Services offered include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Foot Reflexology and Sports massage. Appointments can be made on her website as well as by phone.
